On ne peut pas mieux résumer ce set de Red Cloud au Supersonic pour leur dernière de l’année, année qui fut bien chargée : la sortie d’un premier album en mars puis un changement de line up à l’été.

Et c’est donc la nouvelle recrue Amy qui résume ce concert pour le moins convaincant. Boosté par de nouvelles chansons, (très bonne) augure d’un prochain deuxième album déjà, Red Cloud mérite nettement mieux que l’ouverture d’une soirée, aussi intéressante soit-elle (mention spéciale pour North by North en clôture tout droit venus de Chicago pour leur première parisienne). Boosté également donc par l’arrivée d’une deuxième guitare en remplacement d’un orgue qui a fait ses preuves sur l’album, la nouvelle mouture de Red Cloud annonce du très lourd pour le 2e album !
Le plaisir se lisait sur les visages de nos musiciens, emmenés par l’envoutante Roxane au chant puissant et ce ne sont pas quelques microbes qui auront gâché la fête, la leur et la notre. Vivement 2024 !

We couldn’t better summarize this Red Cloud set at Supersonic for their last of the year, a year which was very busy: the release of a first album in March then a change of line up in the summer.
And it is therefore the new recruit Amy who sums up this concert which is convincing to say the least. Boosted by new songs, (very good) omen of a future second album already, Red Cloud deserves clearly better than the opening of an evening, as interesting as it is (special mention for North by North at the closing straight from of Chicago for their Paris premiere). Also boosted by the arrival of a second guitar to replace an organ which proved its worth on the album, the new version of Red Cloud announces very heavy things for the 2nd album!
The pleasure could be seen on the faces of our musicians, led by the captivating Roxane with her powerful singing, and it was not a few germs that would have spoiled the party, theirs and ours. Roll on 2024!
